About Cheryll

Nonprofit Consultant and Fitness Instructor

Cheryll Puyot has over 10 years of experience working for nonprofit organizations. She is passionate about human services organizations and loves learning about what matters most to donors.

Cheryll’s expertise is in producing both in-person and virtual fundraising and community events. She was instrumental in creating Hospice of Santa Barbara’s illuminate Speaker Series, which began in October 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This series features world-renowned speakers who address the feelings and questions that accompany our challenging time — speakers who will inspire, educate, encourage deeper inquiry in action, create community discussion, and help bring people closer together. She’s worked closely with Elizabeth Gilbert, Jack Kornfield, Trudy Goodman, Kristin Neff, Kelly McGonigal, Richard Louv, Pico Iyer, Sharon Salzberg, Roshi Joan Halifax, Frank Ostaseski, Katy Butler, Dr. BJ Miller, Dr. Sunita Puri, Jenée Johnson, Daniel Goleman, Nora McInerny, and Amanda Kloots. Cheryll produces this virtual series, which has reached over 15,000 viewers in 47 states (in the United States) and over 58 countries.

Cheryll is now based in San Francisco, CA. In addition to having a deep interest in nonprofits, she teaches yoga sculpt classes set to energizing music at CorePower Yoga and Hot 8 Yoga. Her sequences and playlists change weekly—a creative process that Cheryll truly loves.
